PRINCE Ball Guess Wimbledon Contest
Sweepstakes Official Rules June 22, 2009.
THE FOLLOWING SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1) ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is offered in conjunction with the HSBC Wimbledon in Rockefeller Center promotion andis open to legal residents of the United States,13 years of age and older who are "customers" of Prince Sports, Inc. Employees of Prince Sports, Inc. (the "Sponsor"), its parents, affiliates, sponsored players and organizations, Prince retailers, subsidiaries and related companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, and parents, siblings and children, and each of their respective spouses regardless of residence) and household members of each, whether related or not, are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
2) HOW TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("E.T.") on June 22, 2009, and ends at 11:59 p.m. E.T. on June 5, 2009 (the "Entry Period"). Guests of the HSBC Wimbledon in Rockefeller Center promotion (June 22 – June 26) will be able to witness and guess the number of Prince tennis balls housed in a large plexiglass container featured on site as part of the HSBC Wimbledon in Rockefeller Center experience. Participants will be required to fill out their full name, email address and other pertinent information along with one guess in terms of quantity of tennis balls. Guesses will be collected on site through Prince and/or event staff or on site drop-box. In addition, a virtual image of the container of tennis balls, along with the dimensions of the container will be made available online at www.princetennis.com (June 22 – July 5) allowing non-event goers the chance to participate. The promotions will be featured on the Sponsor homepage and will take users to a landing page where they will be prompted to enter required user and contact information in order to be instantly entered into the sweepstakes and submit their guess. One guess per valid email address. One winner – the person closest to or accurate in guessing the number of tennis balls in the container will be deemed the winner. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries submitted. Automated/Multiple Entries are prohibited.
3) PRIZES:
One Grand Prize – awarded to the person who guesses the exact/or closest number of tennis balls without going over in said container
a. (1) Autographed Prince racquet signed by Maria Sharapova. Approximate Retail Value of prize is $300.
4) PRIZE RESTRICTIONS/CONDITIONS: Prizes are non-transferable. No cash redemption or other prize substitution except by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, if featured prize becomes unavailable.
5) NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS/AWARDING OF PRIZES: Prince will select the winner in accordance with timing set forth above. Each winner will be required to have completed all required fields and completed all required information in order to be eligible. Once a winner is selected, Prince will contact winners directly from the information entered in the contest form page to confirm information and any additional details pertaining to receipt of the prize. If there are multiple winners, Prince reserves the right to select at random one winner from those who guessed accurately. If on-site handwritten entries are not deemed legible by the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right to discard the entry. Prince will use reasonable commercial efforts to notify the winner within 60 days of the end of the sweepstakes. If winners are unreachable via phone or email for more than 30 days, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Winners are responsible for all taxes on prize. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a winner, based on an email address, the winning entry will be determined by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.
5) ADDITIONAL TERMS: By entering and/or accepting a prize, the Sweepstakes entrants agree to (a) abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and Sponsor(s) which shall be final, and (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Prince Sports, Inc, and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, divisions, advertising, web and promotion agencies and the respective employees, directors and officers of the foregoing (collectively "Releasees"), from and against any/all claims, losses, injuries or damages, including death, resulting from the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize and/or participation in any prize related activities or any travel related thereto, and (c) allow Sponsor and/or its designees the use of a winner’s name in any online promotion of the contest and as part of ongoing list of winners to be posted on the www.princetennis.com site for promotion and publicity purposes without additional compensation except where prohibited by law. In addition, Prince has the right to retain the information provided by entrants for use in future marketing or communications efforts. Entrants will have the right to refuse or to opt out of this communication at any time. CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil law and, should an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if technical problems render such action necessary. Sweepstakes is governed by laws of the United States with venue in New Jersey for the resolution of all claims and disputes.
6) LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Releasees are not responsible for any late, lost, illegible, incomplete, misdirected or postage due mail/entries, stolen entries, nor are they responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; any technical or human error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction. If, for any reason the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned by reason of tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes and may conduct a drawing and select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to the action taken. Without limiting the foregoing, all aspects of this promotion are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations or the exclusions of liability for incidental or consequential damages, or exclusion of implied warranties so some of the aforementioned limitations or exclusions may not apply.
